The big, fresh investment at Everton could just keep Romelu Lukaku in blue and white.

It was less than a month ago that Lukaku’s words made him sound destined for the door, but Mino Raiola is the big Belgian’s agent, and he says Lukaku has been impressed by the direction at Everton.

The club has a new manager in Ronald Koeman, the first big move with big pledging investor Farhad Moshiri.

From the BBC:

Mino Raiola told Belgian newspaper Sportwereld: “If he leaves, it’s has to be a good deal for all parties involved.

“Everton don’t need money anymore. Rom wants to play for a club that can win trophies. Something’s changed at Everton – there’s a new project”.

Even if Everton supporters aren’t hopeful of a Lukaku stay, Raiola’s comments on the club’s project should put confidence in their hearts. This is a major agent calling a club exciting, and that should train some interesting and talented eyes to Goodison Park.
