There was a fair share of criticism over Euro 2016’s expanded field, however, the tournament has had no shortage of excitement.
With the group stage concluding on Wednesday, traditional powerhouses like Italy, Spain, Germany and hosts France will grace the final 16, while newcomers Iceland and Northern Ireland look to put their stamp on an already appealing competition.
One half of the bracket will be noticeably more challenging, including five teams ranked 17th or higher in the latest FIFA World Rankings.
Iceland, the lowest remaining seed based on the FIFA rankings, will look to continue its surprise run when they face England.
