Former manager Jose Mourinho could conspire with Real Madrid’s locker room hierarchy to deny the club Paul Pogba.

The 23-year-old French midfielder, currently at Juventus and in massive demand, may just join Jose Mourinho and make a return to Manchester United.

Spanish outlet AS claims that Mourinho is prepared to pay Juventus big money for Pogba, and will not be put off by his salary demands.

The report says Real Madrid is scared at making Pogba the second-richest player at the club.

From AS.com:

Pogba hopes to take home a post-tax salary of 12 million euros. In such a scenario, he would arrive in Chamartín as the second best paid player in the squad (behind Cristiano) and overtake Sergio Ramos and Gareth Bale in the pay packet hierarchy; and that would be very hard to digest for many within the dressing room…

United has money to burn, but it will feel like actually burning currency to some supporters considering Pogba was allowed to leave United for free.
