Belgium is slowly trending in the right direction as they begin Euro 2016 knockout round play against Hungary.

Warc Wilmots and company were held scoreless in an opening game loss to Italy, but outscored Republic of Ireland and Sweden 4-0 in their last two group stage matches.

The big test for Hungary will be stopping Belgian frontman Romelu Lukaku, who has a pair of goals – both against Republic of Ireland. Kevin De Bruyne will be dangerous for the Belgians as well, having logged a pair of solid performances centrally after moving in from the wing.

For Hungary, 40-year-old goalkeeper Gabor Kiraly is the oldest player to appear in a European championship. He led a defensive-minded squad to an unbeaten group stage, with a win and two draws. The team played a very defensive style until the second-half against Portugal became open and wild.

This is the first competitive meeting between these two sides since a 1-1 draw in the 1982 World Cup. Their only matchup in the last 20 years of any kind was a 2009 friendly which Belgium won 3-0.

Hungary – Kiraly, Lang, Juhasz, Guzmics, Kadar, Gera, Lovrencsics, Kleinheisler, Nagy, Dzsudzslk, Szalai.

Belgium – Courtois, Meunier, Alderweireld, Vermaelen, Vertonghen, Witsel, Nainggolan, De Bruyne, Mertens, Hazard, Lukaku.
