This is it. A mouthwatering, massive EURO 2016 semifinal clash between two heavyweights of world soccer in Marseille on Thursday.

Current World Cup champs Germany take on hosts France at 3 p.m. ET with the winner taking on Portugal on Sunday in the EURO 2016 final at the Stade de France.

It doesn’t get much bigger than this.

Germany have some lineup issues with Mario Gomez and Sami Khedira missing through injury, while Mats Hummels is suspended. Joachim Low’s side have only conceded once in five games so far at EURO 2016 and will be feeling confident they can reach their second European Championship final in the last three tournaments.

For France, Didier Deschamps’ side have no injury or suspension worries and have the weight of the nation behind them as they bid to reach the final in Paris on Sunday.

Can the gifted trio of Dimitri Payet, Antoine Griezmann and Paul Pogba send Les Bleus roaring into the final?

France hasn’t beaten Germany at a major tournament since 1958 and were knocked out at the quarterfinal stage of the 2014 World Cup by eventual winners Germany.

Revenge will taste sweet and there will be wild celebrations on home soil if France manage to pull it off. Germany is the favorite but this should be an intriguing clash between two top-class teams.
