Four of the NASL’s six opening week matches of Fall Season finished in draws, with two sides who just missed out on the Spring Season title flexing their muscles.
Minnesota United buried Carolina 5-1 to start the campaign after finishing two points back of Indy in the Spring, while the team that lost out on the title via tiebreaker, the New York Cosmos, handed Ottawa a 2-1 setback.
Everyone else drew, and all the scores were 1-1. Parity, we suppose.
