MLS names Homegrown Team roster to face Mexico U-20s

The MLS Homegrown Team has been announced for July 27’s game against the Mexican U-20 team at Avaya Stadium in San Jose.

The game will be held one day before the MLS All Stars face Arsenal.

Real Salt Lake and FC Dallas are well-represented on the roster, with four players each. The most familiar names to fans will be Seattle’s Jordan Morris and San Jose’s Tommy Thompson.

Also of note are Real Salt Lake mid Jordan Allen and RSL defender Justen Glad. Here’s the full roster:

Goalkeepers: Maxime Crepeau (Montreal), Jesse Gonzalez (Dallas)

Defenders: Danilo Acosta (RSL), Justen Glad (RSL), Aaron Guillen (Dallas), Phanuel Kavita (RSL), Jalen Robinson (DC United), Tyler Turner (Orlando)

Midfielders: Tyler Adams (New York Red Bulls), Jordan Allen (RSL), Jay Chapman (Toronto), Coy Craft (Dallas), Harrison Heath (Orlando), Aaron Kovar (Seattle), Raul Mendiola (L.A. Galaxy), Tommy Thompson (San Jose)
