Manchester City could turn to Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez if they fail to sign Leroy Sane from Schalke, according to France Football.

Although the Bundesliga club have admitted that Sane, 20, wants to move on, it is still believed that the two teams are far apart with Schalke wanting over $55 million for the German international winger and now Bayern Munich have been sniffing around the talented attacker.

Claudio Ranieri has said that Mahrez is not leaving Leicester this summer but with recent reports stating the Algerian winger has rejected a new contract offer at the King Power Stadium, rumors will persist about the future of the reigning PFA Player of the Year. Mahrez scored 17 times and added 11 assists as the architect of Leicester’s incredible Premier League title win last season. He tore Man City apart at the Etihad Stadium and even though they possess wingers Raheem Sterling, Jesus Navas, Samir Nasri and have already recruited Nolito, Pep Guardiola may move on Navas and Nasri to accommodate the arrival of Mahrez.

Mahrez, 25, will have seen teammate N'Golo Kante move on to Chelsea last week and could perhaps be wondering about his future at the King Power Stadium. Even the most romantic of soccer fans, or Leicester fans for that matter, would realize that last season was a one-off and Mahrez and Leicester are very unlucky to repeat their heroics.

Time to cash in and guarantee European soccer season after season, Riyad?

According to Corriere dello Sport the agent, and wife, of Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi is said to be in London finalizing a move to Arsenal.

Icardi, 23, is said to have been offered $110,000 a week by Arsenal as Arsene Wenger continues his search for a predatory forward.

He has scored 47 goals in in 88 Serie A appearances for Inter and has 52 goals in 102 total appearances. The Argentine international would supplement Olivier Giroud and provide Wenger with a potent goal threat while also not costing anywhere near the $110 million Napoli is demanding for Gonzalo Higuain.

The transfer fee for Icardi is said to be around $55 million but Arsenal will bid closer to $45 million to start with.

Catalan outlet Sport believes that Barcelona’s Turkish midfielder Arda Turan is unhappy at the Nou Camp and the 29-year-old could move to the Premier League this summer.

Both Chelsea and Arsenal were rumored to be interested in former Atletico Madrid midfielder Turan in the past but in the summer of 2015 he decided to join Barcelona in a $45 million deal despite having to sit out six months due to the Catalan club having a transfer ban imposed on them. Able to play centrally or out wide, Turan is a ferocious tackler and was a key part of Diego Simeone’s La Liga winning team in the 2013-14 season.

Turan scored against Chelsea when Atleti knocked them out of the UEFA Champions League at the semifinal stage in 2014 and his attributes would seem to suit the Premier League. Per the report Turan could leave for $26 million after making just 18 La Liga appearances for Barcelona under Luis Enrique.

He would certainly suit the style of Antonio Conte at Chelsea, adding plenty of bite and quality on the ball in midfield, while Arsenal is always looking for players who can break up the player and compliment their vast array of attacking midfield talents such as Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez. The report claims that Turan will hold talks with Barca in the coming days to try and sort out his future.

Speaking of the rumors to the Guardian, his agent the agent, Ahmet Bulut, is quoted as saying: “The interest [in Arda] is normal but the rumors saying he is leaving Barcelona are false, he is happy at the club.”
