Big Sam Allardyce is taking over the Three Lions, and the move was announced by England’s Football Association on Friday.
Allardyce’s move opens up the job at Sunderland on the same day that ex-Black Cats boss Steve Bruce quit his gig at Hull City.
The 61-year-old has neither played nor managed internationally, and will bring a fresh take to the job. However, look for him to hire assistants who have done the gig before.
Allardyce takes over for Roy Hodgson, who was England team was booted from EURO 2016 by Iceland.
