The third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League was completed Wednesday and now we know the final 20 teams squaring off for the remaining 10 spots in the UCL group stage.

After finishing fourth in the Premier League in 2015-16, Manchester City enters the competition at the play-off round as Pep Guardiola‘s men battle for a spot in the 2016-17 UCL group stages.

The draw will take place on Friday in Nyon, Switzerland and the seedings have been finalized.

Man City can face one of Roma, Steaua Bucharest, Monaco, Young Boys or Rostov. The first three teams won’t be pushovers and failure to make the UCL group stage would be a huge failure for Guardiola early on in his City tenure.

UEFA will continue with the “Champions” and “League” route system which sees the domestic champions all put into the Champions side of the draw and teams who qualified despite not winning their domestic titles placed in the League route.

The five teams with the top UEFA coefficient will be seeded in each side of the draw, playing one of the other five teams. The 10 winners of these two-legged ties will then enter the UCL group stage draw — along with the 22 teams who’ve already qualified — which takes place on Aug. 25 in Monaco.

UCL play-off games will take place on Aug. 16/17 and Aug. 23/24.
