Leicester City’s dream season in 2015-16 is the gift that just keeps giving.

For the players, this time, at least…

On Friday morning the sight of 19 BMW i8’s lined up outside the King Power Stadium welcomed the Leicester players.

Their owners from Thailand, led by chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, have apparently bought the cars for 19 of the players who played in their Premier League title-winning season last time out. Sorry, N'Golo Kante, you chose to join Chelsea a little too soon my friend.

That means Srivaddhanaprabha has spent over $2.6 million on these new cars as a thank you to the team for winning the title.

The Thai owners regularly dished out incredible acts of generosity last season as they handed out free pizza, beer, doughnuts and more to fans during the incredible final few months of the historic title-winning campaign, the first top-flight crown for Leicester in its 132-year history.

Following the title win it was reported that each player would be receiving a $41,000 Mercedes car as a gift. However, it appears the owners have splashed out a bit more to say thanks.

Leicester kick off their 2016-17 season this Sunday as they face Manchester United at Wembley Stadium in the FA Community Shield final for the first piece of silverware of the season.

Take a look at the photos below to see the blue (come on, what other color would they be?) sports cars.
