With so many new managers and players entering the league, England will be basked in glorious sunshine for the first week of the new season. Reigning champs Leicester City kick things off at newly-promoted Hull City (7:30 a.m. ET live CNBC and online via NBC Sports.com). Can Claudio Ranieri‘s side get their title defense off to a flying start?
Then Everton and Tottenham (10 a.m. ET live CNBC and online via NBC Sports.com) lock horns at Goodison Park with new Toffees boss Ronald Koeman hoping to reignite their top six hopes, while Mauricio Pochettino and Spurs have to four ambitions once again. The opening day finishes up with Pep Guardiola taking charge of his first game at Manchester City as they Sunderland (12:30 p.m. ET live CNBC and online via NBC Sports.com) at the Etihad. Can Pep get his reign off to a good start against new Black Cats boss David Moyes?
On Sunday Jose Mourinho begins his new gig at Manchester United as they head to Bournemouth (8:30 a.m. ET live NBCSN and online via NBC Sports.com) and then a massive clash between Arsenal and Liverpool (11 a.m. ET live NBCSN and online via NBC Sports.com) takes place at the Emirates Stadium. Both teams have defensive issues so this should be a fun one.
Rounding off the opening weekend, a London derby takes place as Stamford Bridge on Monday as Antonio Conte takes charge of his first game for Chelsea against West Ham (3 p.m. ET live USA and online via NBC Sports.com).
