A U.S. Men’s National Team up-and-comer shined in the Premier League a season ago, but now he’s looking for a more permanent home with consistent playing time.
Both offers to Spurs are reported to be in the range of $4.5 million and would send the American to either club on a permanent basis.
Yedlin made 25 appearances for the Black Cats last season, and began to impress at right back on a regular basis following early struggles with the team during his transition to defense from his natural right wing position.
The 23-year-old has quickly become a staple for the USMNT, with Jurgen Klinsmann relying heavily on the youngster to stop some of the world’s most explosive wingers. Yedlin starred for the U.S. at this summer’s Copa America Centenario, and has already been capped for 39 matches with the United States.Follow @MattReedFutbol
