Brazil, going for their first-ever Olympic gold medal in soccer (men’s or women’s), will face Honduras (12 p.m. ET — Watch live, on NBCSN and online via NBCOlympics.com) at the Maracana in a rematch of the two sides’ 2012 Olympic quarterfinal clash at St. James’ Park in Newcastle. Brazil knocked the Central Americans from the tournament four years ago on the back of a Leandro Damiao brace and a penalty kick converted by Neymar.

The latter bagged his first goal of the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil’s quarterfinal victory over Colombia on Saturday. The Brazilian women were defeated by Sweden in their semifinal bout on Tuesday. The Honduran men took down South Korea in the quarters, with thanks to Alberth Elis’s game-winning goal.
