When the 2015-16 Premier League season was all said and done, it was Leicester City and Arsenal and in the top two places of the league table. Fast forward three months, and there’s not a single point between them — through just one game played, granted.

On Saturday, it’ll be the Foxes and Gunners facing off at the King Power Stadium (Watch live, 12:30 p.m. ET on CNBC and online via, both sides desperate to right the wrongs of a disastrous opening weekend.


In the 2016-17 Premier League curtain-raiser, Leicester were stunned away to relegation candidates Hull City, while Arsenal were blitzed for four goals by a ruthless Liverpool side at the Emirates Stadium.

Leicester lost all of three games in the league last season — one of which came in this very fixture, home to Arsenal — ultimately winning the title by 10 points. A second loss from two games would make for a mighty mountain to climb, for either side, to finish top of the league in May.
