The game in 100 words (or less): It looked like three points were in the bag for the Red Bulls, but D.C. United’s grit and determination kept the two sides level at the end of 90 minutes. Following a comfortable 2-0 lead heading into the dying minutes, goals from Steve Birnbaum and Lamar Neagle gave D.C. a point on the road at Red Bull Arena. With the result, the Red Bulls move to second place in the Eastern Conference with 44 points while D.C. remains on the outside looking in with 33 points.
