Luciano Acosta has impressed in Major League Soccer since joining D.C. United on loan in 2016, but will the Eastern Conference side decide to keep the Argentine?
It seems as though the club will do everything they can to make that happen.
According to the Washington Post’s Steven Goff, D.C. is ready to begin talks with Boca Juniors to retain the 22-year-old attacker on a permanent deal.
Since joining D.C. United in 2016, Acosta has notched three goals and added eight assists for the eighth-place side.
With MLS’ transfer window closed until January, the two clubs would have to wait until then to complete an official move that would keep Acosta in the United States.Follow @MattReedFutbol
