Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers says he loves Barcelona, to the extent that he is a “huge admirer of everything the club stands for”.
The Bhoys take on Barca on Tuesday in the first game of their UEFA Champions League group stages, and Rodgers admitted his club will be taxed “physically, tactically and mentally”.

And it doesn’t help that Barca has a certain player he’s very familiar with from his time as Liverpool boss, and that’s super striker Luis Suarez.
“First of all, when you speak about him, you have to speak about the man. Luis Suarez is one of the most beautiful men you could come across. He’s a very humble guy who works tirelessly at his profession.
“The biggest compliment you can give him is he came into an already world-class team and he made them better. When I see them play now, Barcelona would not be the same without Luis Suarez in the team.”
With Manchester City and Borussia Monchengladbach also in the fold, Group C is relentless. Celtic will need every point it can muster to have a hope of the Top Two. Although the Bhoys are flying high after a 5-1 win over Rangers, and Barca is coming off a loss to promoted Alaves.
