Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo could both miss the clash for Madrid with both players suffering from nagging injuries.

Bale was forced out of Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League win over Sporting CP with a hip injury after the hour mark, while Ronaldo continues to rehabilitate his knee following the injury that he suffered during the EURO 2016 final.

Zidane hasn’t ruled either player out yet for the meeting with Espanyol, however, both Bale and Ronaldo missed training on Friday, making their availability for Sunday unlikely.
