It has not been a pleasant month for West Ham fans.

Dismissed from the Europa League by Astra Giurgiu, the Irons have responded by losing three-straight matches in the Premier League.

[ RECAP: WBA 4-2 West Ham ]

In those losses — to Man City, Watford, and West Brom — West Ham have conceded a combined 11 goals. Eight of those came against the Hornets and Baggies in 4-2 losses.

When you score two goals, you expect to get a point. Then again, you also expect some semblance of team defense.

Here’s manager Slaven Bilic, from the BBC:

“They deserved it. I felt embarrassed at half-time.”

“There were some positive things in the second half, but we want action not reaction. We have a problem, starting with me. I know that we have a problem and I am the manager and I have to do everything to turn this around, solve that problem.”

West Ham seemed good money to respond from getting waxed by Watford, but still appeared sluggish out of the gate (with the exception of Dimitri Payet).

There’s a lot to fix, with a midweek EFL Cup game against Accrington Stanley to work out the kinks before a visit from Southampton next weekend.
