Toulouse stuns 10-man PSG with second-half finishes

After falling just twice in Ligue 1 last season, Paris Saint-Germain has already equalled its loss total from a season ago.

Unai Emery’s men fell 2-0 on Friday night afternoon against Toulouse behind a pair of second-half tallies at the Stadium Municipal.

Serge Aurier’s dismissal following the halftime break propelled the Toulouse victory, as the PSG defender was sent off just one minute into the second stanza for taking down Ola Toivonen inside the penalty area.

In the 48th minute, Yann Bodiger knocked the hosts into the lead from the penalty spot, before  Jimmy Durmaz finished the match off 11 minutes from the final whistle following an inopportune mistake from Thiago Motta in the back.

The win lifts Toulouse to second place in France’s top flight, leapfrogging PSG in the process, who now drop to third on the table.
