Adam Lallana scored early and drove the bus for Liverpool, who pounded 10-man Hull City 5-1 at Anfield on Saturday.
Liverpool rises to third with 13 points, while Hull sinks to 12th despite its hot start.

Liverpool was living in the final third to start the game, with one weak Philippe Countinho effort cleared off the line and another Reds combination barely saved from a corner.
That’s when Lallana broke through, sweeping his left peg across his body to bundle the ball just inside the far post in the 17th minute. 1-0 Reds.
The game was effectively over in the 29th minute, when Ahmed Elmohamady gave away a penalty and took a red card in the process. Milner smashed home with authority to make it 2-0.
Mane didn’t let a tough first touch ruin his chance at making it 3-0, as the Senegalese attacked recollected a pass from Lallana and belted it home.

The Tigers pulled one back early in the second half through substitute David Meyler, who found a second ball after Gini Wijnaldum had been bullied to the ground off a corner kick. 3-1.
Coutinho had answered back in under a minute, fooling Ryan Mason with a cutthroat dribble before blazing a breathtaking rip from outside the 18. 4-1.
Substitute Daniel Sturridge was then dropped in the box, allowing Milner to convert his second PK of the game.
