As for the reigning champs, it has been a mixed start to the season for Claudio Ranieri‘s men but they have won their UEFA Champions League opener and new signing Islam Slimani is already banging in goals.

For United they suffered three-straight defeats last week but did win their tricky EFL Cup away tie at Northampton Town and ahead of this game Mourinho has slammed “football Einsteins” for criticizing his management and his players.

In team news Mourinho has made a big call, dropping captain Wayne Rooney and midfielder Marouane Fellaini. Juan Mata and Ander Herrera come in to the lineup, while Daley Blind starts at left back for the injured Luke Shaw and Jesse Lingard starts out wide in place of the injured Anthony Martial.

Leicester are without goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel who remains out injured, but are unchanged from their win against Burnley with Islam Slimani starting up top.
