Willian’s 61st minute goal broke Chelsea through, as the Blues ended their PL woes with a 2-0 win over Hull City at the KC Stadium on Saturday.

Diego Costa also fired an aesthetically-pleasing ball past Hull keeper David Marshall, and Antonio Conte‘s team waltzed to three points.

The win snapped a three-game winless run for Chelsea.

Hull City had a promising free kick within two minutes of play, and Thibaut Courtois made a fantastic flying save to slap Robert Snodgrass‘ deflected left-footed arrow¬†wide of the frame.

That moment was an outlier, as Chelsea then set up shop in the Hull end. Victor Moses‘ clever dribble was forced out by the Blues, and moments later Willian dragged a hard low pass wide of the goal with no receiver.

Eden Hazard weaved a great run into a hard shot that David Marshall did well to stop, and Chelsea had an early second half corner that turned into another.

N'Golo Kante made an interception to spring Diego Costa on goal, but Jake Livermore slid to deflect the Spaniard’s shot. The rebound came to Kante, only for the midfielder to miss his chance.

The goal was coming, and Willian provided it with a wonderful curling strike in the 61st minute. And Costa added to the lead in the 67th, with a similar gorgeous finish following Nemanja Matic‘s surprising dribble into the mix.
