France and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba used a screen and a swerve to put France in front of the Netherlands in UEFA World Cup qualifying on Monday.
Dimitri Payet played a square ball to Pogba, who had plenty of room to operate. Kevin Strootman laid off Pogba, providing a near-perfect blind and turning his body just as the shot is taken.

Everton and Netherlands goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg had to react in a split-second to the shot, which also — almost comically — took a dramatic swerve and forced the keeper to barely change the course of the goal-bound shot despite a two-handed parry.

France entered the day one of three Group A teams with four points, along with the Netherlands and Sweden. Bulgaria had three points before playing Sweden, so perhaps we’ll see some separation in the cluttered group.
