England: Three Lions to face Germany in first test of 2017

The FA announced on Friday that England will face Germany in March as the Three Lions kick off 2017 against the world’s third-ranked nation.

The European nations will face off on March 22 at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, as both teams will resume UEFA World Cup qualifying days later. The Three Lions will resume Group F four days after when England takes on Lithuania, while the Germans travel to Azerbaijan the same day.

The last time England and Germany played, the English pulled off a stunning 3-2 win against Die Mannschaft.
