A wild Bundesliga weekend set the stage for top-half upheaval next week, as Bayern Munich dropped points to leave three teams within three points of the top in Germany.

Eintracht Frankfurt 2-2 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich tossed away two leads, the second with Eintracht Frankfurt condemned to 10 men, as Szabolcs Huszti and Mexico’s Marco Fabian scored equalizers. Arjen Robben and Joshua Kimmich scored for the visitors.

USMNT back Timmy Chandler led Eintracht with 58 touches and five crosses, including this pass that Fabian chested home.

Koln 2-1 Ingolstadt

Anthony Modeste scored a pair of first-half goals, the second from the penalty spot, as the hosts moved to within two points of Bayern. USMNT mid Alfredo Morales played 15 minutes off the bench for Ingolstadt.

Borussia Monchengladbach 0-0 Hamburg

Cleber took a 25th minute red card for Hamburg, but the hosts missed a pair of penalties through Andre Hahn and Lars Stindl. USMNT striker Bobby Wood played 16 minutes off the bench for Hamburg.

Augsburg 1-1 Schalke

Nabil Bentaleb and Daniel Baier trade goals at Augsburg Arena.

Hoffenheim 2-1 Freiburg

The hosts are unbeaten in seven after Sandro Wagner and Andrej Kramaric netted, the latter just four minutes after Florian Niederlechner found an equalizer at Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

Werder Bremen 2-1 Bayer Leverkusen

Goals from Zlatko Junuzovic and Ousman Manneh scored for the hosts, with Hakan Calhanoglu netting for Bayer.
