Pigs in the Valley is neither a new concessions item at Charlton Athletic, nor a Pink Floyd B-side.
Nope, it’s reality at The Valley, home of Charlton, as fans of both the hosts and Coventry City have tossed hundreds of plastic pink pigs on the field in protest of ownership. The supporters also had a joint march to the stadium.

The match was held up for more than a handful of minutes, as documented by Charlton broadcaster Louis Mendez on Twitter.
You never like to see matches held up, but also have to admit it’s a clever and eye-catching protest.
