Burnley beat Everton 2-1 at Turf Moor on Saturday in dramatic fashion.

Scott Arfield popped up and tucked away the winner to send the Clarets faithful wild after Sean Dyche‘s side weathered a severe amount of pressure from Ronald Koeman‘s Everton.

Burnley took the lead through Sam Vokes after Maarten Stekelenburg‘s mistake but it was all Everton in the second half as Yannick Bolasie equalized. However, Arfield popped up with the winner as his side have now won three of their five games at home in the Premier League this season.

With the three points Burnley have 10 points and sit in 14th place, while Everton is now without a win in four PL games and has 15 points.

Burnley worked their way into the game as they started to keep things solid defensively.

That wasn’t the case for Everton.

Stekelenburg made a horrendous error to hand Burnley the opener. The Dutch international goalkeeper made a mess of a harmless effort from Steven Arfield as the ball squirmed away from him and Vokes tapped home. 1-0.

In the second half Mirallas put in a cross which just missed Lukaku at the back post as Everton cranked up the heat on Burnley.

A mistake by Ben Mee then saw Gareth Barry play in Lukaku and Bolasie pushed him away and slammed home. 1-1.

Seamus Coleman (who was booked for a horrendous foul earlier) nearly got in but Michael Keane defended the situation well as Koeman’s boys battered Burnley in the closing stages.
