Everton vs. West Ham United — 9:30 a.m. ET, on NBCSN and NBCSports.com
A victory on Sunday could see Ronald Koeman‘s side pull within five points of the summit in the PL, however, a reinvigorated West Ham side sits in their way. The Hammers come into the match winners of three straight and unbeaten in their last four overall, but it won’t be an easy task for Slaven Bilic and co. to head into Goodison Park and halt Everton.
The Toffees have cooled off a bit as of late, going winless in their last five matches across all competitions. While Romelu Lukaku continues to pace Everton with six goals and two assists thus far, the Toffees have struggled to find support for their Belgian striker up front.
Southampton vs. Chelsea — 12 p.m. ET, on NBCSN and NBCSports.com
The Blues have been a changed side since Antonio Conte‘s switch to the 3-4-3, and the Saints will be the team’s latest challenge on Sunday as Chelsea looks to remain both unbeaten and unscathed in the goal department since making the change.
Despite their midweek slip up in the League Cup against the Hammers, Chelsea has nine goals in its previous three PL matches, while holding their opponents to none. Southampton will pose a significant threat though to Chelsea, with the Saints unbeaten in their last five PL fixtures, including a recent draw against Manchester City.Follow @MattReedFutbol
