It’s one thing to say it, and yet another for it to be so true.
Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan scored his second brace in four days, and this one came as City avenged a loss to Barcelona by handling the La Liga giants in England.

Gundogan scored the first and third goals of a 3-1 win, and City probably could’ve scored a few more as whatever Pep Guardiola said at halftime made it look like the two sides switched jerseys at the break.
Kevin De Bruyne scored the second goal on a solid free kick, and described the win as everything falling into place. Gundogan took it a step further.
From the BBC:
“We started a bit nervously but after we scored we had our confidence back and the second half was incredible. We dominated Barcelona.”
Again, it’s true. That it came after Barca handled Man City 4-0 just weeks ago at the Camp Nou makes it even sweeter for City supporters.
