Austria Wien 2-4 Roma
The hosts scored the first and last goals of the match, but Edin Dzeko scored to level the score within the first five minutes and added another in the 65th minute. Daniele De Rossi and Radja Nainggolan also scored as Roma moved atop Group E.
Fenerbahce 2-1 Manchester United — RECAP
There wasn’t much to like about Manchester United’s match, going down in the first minute and then struggling with the loss of Paul Pogba to injury. Moussa Sow scored a slick bicycle kick for Fener, and Jeremain Lens made it 2-0 via a free kick before Wayne Rooney belted a terrific long shot home in the 87th minute.
United is now third in Group A with two matches to play: home to Feyenoord on Nov. 24 and at Zorya Luhansk on Dec. 8.
Southampton – Inter Milan — RECAP
Two goals in six minutes, one from Virgil Van Dijk and the other an own goal, saw Saints rise from an early deficit to pick up a historic win at St. Mary’s Stadium. Inter opened up through Mauro Icardi at a time where Southampton looked most likely to score.
Athletic Bilbao 5-3 Genk
Aritz Aduriz’s five-goal haul included a hat trick on penalties alone, as the La Liga side never tailed in a high-scoring match. Athletic is now first in Group F, just a point ahead of last place Sassuolo.
