Agent Dimitri Seluk has received a message from high-profile client Yaya Toure: Make peace with Pep.

Guardiola publicly offered Yaya a route back into the team when he suggested last month that a Seluk apology would be a necessary step toward Toure seeing time on the pitch.
Seluk clearly gets it now. From Goal.com:
“This is a genuine gesture. I hope Pep accepts that my hope is that we can start with a clean page.
“Of course, I hope Pep takes the decision to bring Yaya back into his squad. But even if he doesn’t, I can assure him that I am not going to speak about him any more in the media.
“I have sent this message because Pep hasn’t returned my calls. I really do hope this can be a new start and that Yaya can help Manchester City to win more trophies.”
Knowing Seluk, he’s probably calling during City games or at 3 a.m.
Seluk is far from a super agent, with Kolo Toure and retired Frenchman Eric Abidal the biggest names who’ve been on his books (besides Yaya). This ordeal alone must be hurting his business, and you have to wonder whether Yaya might just say goodbye to Seluk at some point.
Then again, if enough wasn’t enough after the birthday fiasco, when will it be?
Yaya remains untied for European competition, so not using him until January could make sense for Guardiola and may be the plan regardless of apology.
