To say that some people were enraged with Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton in the United States presidential election is an understatement.

One U.S. soccer player has already made a point of not returning to her native country until Trump’s first-term in the White House is completed.
Ella Masar, 30, currently plays for Swedish club FC Rosengard and the winger has requested a four-year extension with the team in order to prevent her from coming back to the U.S. while Trump is commander in chief.
“I went to see Therese [Sjogran, sporting director of FC Rosengard] and asked to sign on for another four years at the club so I do not go back to the U.S. with Donald Trump as president,” Masar told Sydsvenskan.
In the event that the club denies Masar’s request, the Illinois native has a back up plan already in place as she holds a Canadian passport.
“I’m also happy that I even have a Canadian passport,” Masar said. “I’ve actually met him once. We had to go there for an Easter dinner and I thought then that he was a scary man.”Follow @MattReedFutbol
