According to ESPN FC, the Yankees are not interesting in taking over English League Two side Notts County. The club is the oldest professional soccer club in the world and was founded in 1862.

The Yankees already have a partnership with Premier League side Manchester City, with both entities serving as co-owners of MLS side New York City FC.

Notts chairman Ray Trew listed the club for sale earlier in 2016, but no deal has been struck to this point.
