According to the Guardian, Southgate is set to sign a four-year contract as England manager and will earn roughly $2 million under the new deal. A decision is expected to be handed down from the English FA by the end of November.

The 46-year-old previously served as England’s U-21 boss from 2013 until earlier this year, with Southgate only losing three matches during his tenure of 34 games.

Southgate has managed four matches thus far for the senior side, leading the Three Lions to a record of 2-2-0, including a recent 3-0 World Cup qualifying win against Scotland and Tuesday’s 2-2 draw vs. Spain.
