Pochettino was asked whether Kane and Lloris seeing their teammates get raises could unsettle them. From the London Evening Standard:
“There is some rumour that can affect our fans but they should not be worried about things like this because the players want to be here in the long-term.
“I think they are talking maybe about improving and extending the contract and I think in the future it will not be a problem to do.”
Kane’s current $62,000/week deal is more than 100k per week less than England teammate Jamie Vardy‘s new contract, and one of the main reasons we expect a deal done sooner rather than later.
Lloris makes $100k per week according to the report, and is likely less urgent. Kane is signed through 2019-20, while Lloris’ current deal runs through 2018-19.
