Finland, CSKA Moscow midfielder banned 2 years

CSKA Moscow and Finland midfielder Roman Eremenko has been given a massive UEFA ban for failing a drug test.

Eremenko, 29, tested positive for cocaine in October, and will miss the next two years of football for it.

One of the most capped players in Finland men’s national team history with 73, Eremenko last appeared for the Huuhkajat in October.

Eremenko last played for his club on Oct. 2 against Rostov. His finest seasons were in 2013-14 for Rubin Kazan, where he scored five goals in European competition, and 2014-15 at CSKA Moscow when he netted 13 league goals.
