Yaya Toure earned his first start under Pep Guardiola, probably thanks to a public apology, and then rewarded his manager with a goal. There was a deflection, but the work beforehand was vintage Guardiola (going back to Barcelona).

Etienne Capoue scored after just over a half minute, set up by Troy Deeney and Roberto Pereyra. It was 2-0 thanks to a gorgeous strike from Pereyra, though Riyad Mahrez conveted a Jamie Vardy-won penalty to give us our halftime scoreline.
