Bournemouth beat Stoke City 1-0 on Saturday at the bet365 Stadium.
Nathan Ake scored the only goal of the game as the Cherries won away for the first time this season in the Premier League.
Eddie Howe‘s side now has 15 points and they jump ahead of Stoke City on 13 points.

The away side took the lead in the first half as on loan Chelsea defender Ake scored moments after being clattered by Stoke forward Wilfried Bony. The Dutchman dusted himself off and headed home to give the Cherris a shock lead.

At the start of the second half Stoke had a great chance to equalize after Bojan was tripped by Simon Francis and the Potters were awarded a penalty kick. The Spaniard stepped up to take the PK but drilled his effort against the bar.

Stoke continued to push forward but Bournemouth looked dangerous on the break with Josh King rifling an effort into the side-netting.

Xherdan Shaqiri then spurned a glorious chance as Marko Arnautovic spun his marker and set up the Swiss attacker but from inside the box he blazed over. That summer up Stoke’s afternoon as the Potters lost for the first time in seven games.
