On the pitch Arsenal is unbeaten in 10 games, while United has just two wins in their last eight PL matches and are without the suspended Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Wayne Rooney has been in the spotlight all week after his antics on international duty with England. In team news United start with Rooney on the bench, while Antonio Valencia returns from injury and Michael Carrick starts in midfield.

Arsenal bring in Mohamed Elneny in midfield alongside Coquelin, while Carl Jenkinson starts in place of the injured Hector Bellerin. Alexis Sanchez also shakes off an injury to start.
