According to reports in England, Bournemouth winger Jordon Ibe was robbed at knifepoint in south London back on November 6.

Just a day after a disastrous 2-1 defeat to Sunderland heading into the international break, Ibe was driving when thieves reportedly rammed into the back of his car and proceeded to rob him with a knife, taking his $30,000 Rolex watch. Police have announced they are investigating whether the vehicular collission was intentional.

The attack came just four days after Andy Carroll was the victim of an attempted robbery, where bicicylsts targeted Carroll on his way home from training. The robbers pointed a gun at Carroll, who drove off but crashed his Mercedes in the panic, managing to make his way back to the training ground after shaking the robbers on foot.

Ibe was not injured in the attack, and he missed the most recent 1-0 win over Stoke on Saturday due to illness, according to the club. It’s been a rough season for Ibe, without a goal or assist thus far after moving to Bournemouth from Liverpool.
