Leicester City’s Premier League season isn’t going well at all, but its UEFA Champions League run has picked up where last year’s dream left off.
The Foxes have four wins and a draw through five group stage matches after Tuesday’s 2-1 win over visiting Club Brugge, clinching a seeded spot in the Round of 16.

Captain and defender Wes Morgan is, as they say, over the moon at King Power Stadium.
“It is a fantastic feeling to reach the last 16. It is more than we could ever imagine. For Leicester to be newcomers and finish group winners it is an amazing achievement. A great result and a great performance.”
The Champions League being what it is, Leicester could still draw mighty names like Bayern Munich or Real Madrid in the knockout rounds.
At this point, though, Leicester is surely fine with whatever comes its way. A bit of dreamland in the East Midlands of England.
