The Scottish Sun reports that Brendan Rodgers is hoping to woo USMNT player and longtime Portland Timbers man Darlington Nagbe to Celtic Park.
Nagbe, 26, is reportedly a $2 million target for Celtic, and is reportedly in Glasgow for Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League match between the Scottish giants and Barcelona.

Oddly enough, fellow former Akron midfielder Perry Kitchen left Major League Soccer for Scotland this summer, and is now the captain of Hearts.
From The Scottish Sun:
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is desperate to sign a No . 10-style player and Nagbe, 26, has emerged as a target.
It is believed Liberia-born Nagbe flew into Glasgow yesterday and was whisked to Celtic Park for a look around the stadium.
The report says it would be a “major coup” for Celtic to land Nagbe. Do you think a move to the Scottish Premiership is an upgrade?
In any event, this could be a tremendous week for Nagbe: a new gig and a new national team coach.
