The minutes and hours immediately thereafter haven’t been any better for Massimiliano Allegri’s side, as it was confirmed that Dani Alves suffered a broken leg with a little more than 10 minutes remaining and all three substitutions having already been made. Juve’s lead in Serie A is down to four points after Sunday’s defeat, while their place in the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League has already been confirmed with one game still to play. Home to Dinamo Zagreb in the group-stage finale, a win would secure top spot and seeded status in the draw for the round of 16.
