Wilfried Zaha hasn’t been an England international since making his most recent appearance for the Three Lions in 2013, and the Crystal Palace winger won’t be waiting around any longer for his next call-up.

Having been born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, Zaha has always been eligible to play for Les Elephants, and that’s exactly what he’ll do from now on after choosing to switch his international allegiance over the weekend, according to reports out of West Africa on Sunday, including the below photo.
Zaha made just two appearances for England, both of which were friendlies, in 2012 and 2013. It was at that time he made his ill-fated move from Palace to Manchester United, where he made just four appearances during his lone half-season at Old Trafford.
According to additional reports ahead of the weekend, Zaha won’t make his one-time switch with FIFA before the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, which kicks off Jan. 14 in Gabon.
