The EFL Cup semifinals are set, with longtime Manchester United man Mike Phelan getting a chance to take down his former employer.

Phelan is currently the boss of relegation-struggling Hull City, who nipped Newcastle United in penalty kicks on Tuesday, approximately 24 hours before the Red Devils buried West Ham United 4-1.

That leaves Southampton matching up with Liverpool in the other semifinal, with plenty of ex-Saints playing for Jurgen Klopp‘s Reds. Liverpool beats Leeds on Tuesday, and Saints got by Arsenal a day later to make their first semifinal in 30 years.

The first leg will be played the week of January 9, with the second leg January 23.

The EFL Cup Final will be played on Feb. 26 at Wembley Stadium.
