- Snodgrass steals, gives away PKs
- Zaha scores thriller
- Palace sits 15th with 14 points
- Hull level with Swans, Irons on points
Thrills and spills, indeed.
Penalties, dives, and six goals were part of a 3-3 draw between Hull City and Crystal Palace at the KC Stadium on Saturday.
If karma’s a thing, then it was satisfied by the 70th minute.
Robert Snodgrass‘ early dive for a PK gave Hull the lead only to watch it turn into 2-1 to the visitors.
But Adama Diomande and Jake Livermore score in the final 20 minutes to give the hosts a comeback of their own, only for Fraizer Campbell to supply an 89th minute equalizer.

Robert Snodgrass hit the deck to win a penalty from Scott Dann, and then converted his chance to give the Tigers a bit of early confidence.
Snodgrass appeared to be untouched by Dann, and was already on a yellow card. The PK decision flipped the script on what should’ve been 10 men for the relegation-threatened Tigers.

Palace got karmic payback when Benteke converted his penalty, won when Snodgrass fouled Wilfried Zaha inside the 18. Not much of a penalty, but who outside of Hull is going to complain given Snodgrass’ earlier embarrassment?
Zaha scored a wonderful goal to make it 2-1, working through the 18 before hammering his shot into the goal.
The lead was short-lived thanks to Diomande and Livermore, and Dann was central to both. Norwegian striker Diomande turned Dann for a 72nd minute finish, and Livermore worked around the challenges of both Dann and Yohan Cabaye for a 78th minute go-ahead marker.
But Campbell pulled a point back for the Eagles, leaving Hull in the drop zone on goal differential. The Tigers are level with 17th place Swansea and 18th place West Ham with 12 points.
