Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino put the hammer down on the Eric Dier transfer rumors in a hurry.

When all options are healthy, the 22-year-old Dier has been second fiddle to Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele in the heart of Spurs’ midfield.

Dier has played center back as well, and is among the more versatile players in any set-up. But as an England player, clearly the youngster would like to play more often.

Speaking after Spurs dotted Hull City 3-0 on Wednesday, Pochettino says they’ll sort it out before Dier has to go anywhere.

From the BBC:

“I know there are a lot of rumours, but he’s 100 percent our player. He’s very important for us, he signed a contract after the Euros and showed his commitment to the club. There’s no doubt his future is at White Hart Lane.”

Selling Dier would be a questionable move unless it’s for one of those hyper-inflated price tags slapped on English players in the Premier League.
