Sergio Aguero helped pace Man City to a 5-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium, after the Citizens fell behind seven minutes in to Huddersfield.

The visitors got off and running in the seventh-minute when Harry Bunn tallied from close range after finishing off a Philip Billing pass.

It took the Citizens a half hour to pull themselves level, but from there, it was all Pep Guardiola‘s side.

Leroy Sane kicked off a City goal spree in the 30th minute, before goals from Aguero and Pablo Zabaleta followed before the halftime break.

Aguero added his second of the match in the second stanza after blasting home a Raheem Sterling cross inside the penalty area.

Meanwhile, second-half substitute Kelechi Iheanacho put the finishing touches for the City in stoppage time when fellow substitute Jesus Navas picked out the striker inside the Huddersfield area.

The Citizens will meet fellow Premier League side Middlesbrough in the quarterfinals on March 11. Millwall and Lincoln City are the two lone non-PL clubs remaining in this season’s competition.
